Prepare to become an organizational leader in the growing field of infant and family services. This concentration combines our Infancy and our Administration concentrations, so you’ll gain expertise in working with infants and their families as well as administrative and organizational skills needed to lead infant/toddler programs. As the need for qualified infant specialists grows, so does the need for those who can lead infant-focused organizations in this field.
The Infancy and Administration concentration prepares you to seek the Illinois Gateways to Opportunity Infant Toddler Credential, Levels 2-6, through the Entitled Route. This concentration also prepares you to seek the Illinois Gateways to Opportunity Early Care and Education Credential, Levels 2-6, through the Entitled Route. To earn the credential, you will need to complete the appropriate Gateways application and provide documentation of your academic and professional experiences.
